Situated on KO Samet's north coast sits Ao Noi Na. The great thing about this location is that it is normal! What do I mean by normal? Well, it really has a village atmosphere, not targeted just towards tourists when compared to the rest of Ko Samet.
There a couple of places to stay here along with a few nice restaurants, making this place fairly quiet. The main road which ends at a beautiful beach is very quiet which helps you forget where you are.
You can actually reach Ao Noi Na beach in around 30 minutes or so walking from Na Dan pier. The walk is well worth it as you will pass a couple of floating seafood restaurants. You walk down to the beach and ring a bell, then one of the local fisherman will pick you up and take you out to enjoy the food over the water. A really enjoyable experience I might add. A few of the other restaurants worth mentioning are Pee Soon's restaurant a locally famous place situated just before the Samed Cliff Resort, serving good food, although at time of writing it closed at 8.30pm! There is also Baan Pou Paan a Scottish operated guest house and restaurant offering bungalows and rooms.
